Tom Marmaros


Mr. Thomas Marmaros has a B. Comm. (Honours) from McGill University and joint M.B.A. and M.I.A. (JD) degrees in International Law from Columbia University. With an unrivaled comprehension of market climate and a savviness for uncovering hidden value, Tom has been involved in Real Estate as a principal for the past 40 years. He started developing and purchasing properties in Montreal in the early 80’s. From 1989 to 1998, he invested in Texas, principally the Dallas Fort Worth area, following the opportunities created by the savings and loan crisis. Starting in 2000, Tom formed IMC, and with partners, has purchased over 7 million square feet of commercial, shopping, mixed use and industrial properties across the Province of Quebec and the Midwest of the US. This represents 40 properties with over 500 tenants valued at approximately $600 million.

Jonathan Marmaros

Vice-President of Operations and Acquisitions

Jonathan Marmaros joined IMC in 2008. He began as a property manager consistently taking underperforming acquisitions and leasing them up through strong tenant retention and a hands on leasing approach. In 2009, he took on project supervision and created a construction division for oversight of tenant improvements. Since then, he has been responsible for renovation projects totaling over 3 million square feet. In 2015, he became Vice President and as such has overseen the acquisition, financing and due diligence of $350 million in assets. Prior to joining IMC he worked for Altus Group, the largest real estate valuation firm in Canada. He received his MBA from Columbia University, Post Graduate certification in Real Estate Valuation from the University of British Columbia, Bachelors degree from the University of Western Ontario as well as being a licensed General Contractor.

Jacques Fleury

Vice-President of Finance and Accounting

Jacques is responsible for tax returns, financial planning, analysis and reporting for IMC’s portfolio. Jacques has been working in Real Estate Management for more than 20 years. He first began his career in Commercial Management. He has worked on the residential side as well in condominium management. Jacques has worked for IMC for the past seventeen years and was formally director of Accounting. He has a B. Comm in accounting and management from the HEC Montreal.

Cheryl Butler

Director of Operations

Cheryl Butler is the Director of Operations for IMC Real Estate Management in the US. She oversees approximately 2,5 million square feet of multi-tenant office product across four states. Cheryl joined IMC in April 2012 and set up the property management brokerage, which now consists of 25 employees, including property management, maintenance, and administrative staff. She is pro-active in implementing energy savings programs, and handles the construction and leasing for the properties. Prior to working for IMC, Cheryl spent 13 years at Busch Properties Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Anheuser Busch Company, where she held various management positions, and was involved in the development of the Busch Corporate Centers in Ohio, California, and Virginia. Cheryl is a licensed real estate broker in Ohio and Indiana, and has a BA from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University, and an Associates Degree in Software Development. She sits on various landowner association boards, and is a Certified Commercial Property Specialist.

Jordan Granner

Director of Acquisitions

Jordan graduated from McGill University with a major in accounting. He has been working in the real estate industry from construction and operations, to underwriting and acquisitions for 6 years. He got his start in construction, learning all the costs associated with operating commercial buildings. Since then, he is responsible for all tenant improvements in Canada, while also playing a key role in uncovering new assets, financial due diligence and analysis for new properties. He has taken part in the acquisition of over 1.5 million square feet of commercial office space across the Midwest of the United States, valued at over $225 million.

Guy George Lever

Guy George Lever is president of Les Entreprises G. Lever Inc., a Company specializing in Corporate Management & Real-Estate. Mr. Lever has leveraged his experience, skills and interests, with both private and publicly traded companies in the following fields; Construction, Pharmaceuticals, Telecom, Financial, Leasing, Renewable Energy, Distribution & Manufacturing. Having had a highly successful career in re-structuring, his understanding of risk elements along with financing requirements is integral to developing an Ethical Corporate culture and maintaining good Governance.
